State Disaster Response Force:
Four Units of “State Disaster Response Force” (SDRF) is established with a strength of 1(one) Company each in 4 Battalions of the Mizoram Armed Police and the Indian Reserved Police Company as given below. Its main duty is Search & Rescue, Evacuation works, Medical First Responder, etc. at the disaster site. The area of operation shall be as follows:

The SDRF will operate at the requisition of the Deputy Commissioner (Incident Commander) or District Superintendent of Police concerned or at the instance of the State Disaster Management Authority/State Crisis Management Committee as the case requires.
